The Communications and Transport Ministry, through its government office of Civil Aeronautics, is in charge of Civil Aviation in Mexico. As an active member of the “International Organization of Civil Aviation”, it observes its laws, rules, and norms as established therein.
To avoid penalization or fines:
All registered Mexican aircraft providing private service must carry the following documents on board:

2. Registration certificate
3. Civil liability insurance
4. License (pilot)
5. Medical certificate (pilot)

All registered Mexican aircraft providing air taxi service within Mexico must carry the following documents on board:

3. Air Operator Certificate (AOC)
4. Civil liability insurance
5. License (pilot)
6. Medical certificate (pilot)
7. Permit issued by the DGAC (TAI) (TAN)

The government office of Civil Aeronautics, through its airport command, issues permits for multiple entries to foreign aircraft that wish to frequently land and take off. The following documentation is required to obtain this permit:

2. Aircraft registration
3. Aeronavigability certificate
4. License (pilot)
5. Medical certificate (pilot)
6. Aircraft insurance
7. If the aircraft is rented, a notarized letter from the leasing company should be provided declaring that it agrees that the client may fly the aircraft to Mexico.

If the client renting does not wish a multiple-entry permit, he may pay for one entry only. He must carry the same documentation required for a multiple-entry permit. |
